Anchored in Matanchén, we took a panga trip into the mangroves today with our (Covid bubble) friends on sv JULIET to check out the wildlife including numerous crocodiles, also iguanas, turtles, and birds. Check out the photo of the unexpected buddies a baby croc and heron sharing a log. A super fun trip, unspoiled and non-commercial. Quite the treat!
Happy Valentines to this crazy goof. He makes me laugh and smile everyday. We love our adventures, tacos, and sailing. Here is to another 20+ years of fun love and adventure.
While we feel ridiculously blessed to be out here while much of the world is locked down, we recognize the pandemic does limit our ability to experience and interact with local cultures as we would have hoped. Today however, we headed to the central market in Mazatlan, and it was a cultural treat.
Mmmm. Boat pizza! First time ever. Turned out great even with a small propane oven that’s hard to regulate heat. And leftovers for tomorrow!!!
Cold bright moon tonight at anchor. 64 degrees outside but we are huddled up below staying warm. Have a great night wherever you are and remember we are all looking at the same moon tonight 👍
We left the marina! What a great feeling after months of projects. Its rainy, but we are once again anchored in Bahia Falsa watching the pelicans dive bomb for their dinner.
