Boundless is a 1984 Passport 42, built in 1984 in Taiwan. Boundless is hull # 33 (we believe) of approximately 50 Passport 42s that were built.
From what we can see (there is extensive paperwork onboard), Boundless was sold in San Diego but moved to Seattle some time in the early 90’s and lightly cruised in the Pacific Northwest for over 20 years by her (likely) second owner. In 2015, Boundless was bought by an experienced offshore sailor with the intention of cruising to Mexico and beyond with his wife. A number of upgrades were made including all new standing and running rigging, new lifelines, a mast and boom repaint, new roller furler and staysail, and an interior upholstery upgrade. Most unfortunately, the owner passed away suddenly in early 2017, and we feel blessed to assume responsibility for further improvements that we hope the previous owner would approve of.
Boundless was features as part of an article about the Passport 42 in Good Old Boat Magazine May/June 2021.
