Log:
Feeling lazy and wanting to catch the sun, we headed straight up Racoon Straight (with the current) and anchored in Paradise cove. We watched (repeatedly) a YouTube video on splicing braided line and gave in a go. Much cursing at the fids later, Julian had a mess, and Colin had a bona bide splice worthy of a wash down bucket (pretty good!). Back down Racoon Straights (again, with the current), and back home with a sunburn.
