Log:
Up early and off to the boat to get her over to Berkeley for hauling out. A big day! with tide against us and an appointment with the travel lift we anticipated a motor, but with a nice breeze brewing, it was time to unfurl the Genoa and get us an extra couple of knots. It was a nice sail over and with just about the Bay to ourselves (except for the odd ferry and barge) it was very peaceful early on a weekday.
Arriving at Berkeley involved tying up on a small remaining length of the fuel dock, and then backing Boundless (always a treat) down a narrow fairway and into the haul out area, executed (even if I say so myself) to perfection.
We successfully got all this accomplished before the rain which was forecast for about 1:00pm, and sure enough, as soon as the boat was chocked up, the skies opened. Sometimes things work out well.
