Another day.... another bay. We were just saying how we can go from one location to another, under sail, make water from solar energy, have great food and drop anchor and be in a totally different world. We are truly blessed and lucky to do what we do. While it looks easy there are always some challenges but we overcome them together and don’t bore you with them 😆
We love our old spinnaker especially on days like today. But boy we would love a newer better cut one too. Thanks to #SVJuliet for the shot while we are both underway to Punta de Mita
Beautiful morning here anchored off the beach in Chacala. Just the sounds of the surf pounding on the beach, dogs barking on shore, and the birds in the palm trees. But .... time to go, but what a great stop this has been.
Anchored in Matanchén, we took a panga trip into the mangroves today with our (Covid bubble) friends on sv JULIET to check out the wildlife including numerous crocodiles, also iguanas, turtles, and birds. Check out the photo of the unexpected buddies a baby croc and heron sharing a log. A super fun trip, unspoiled and non-commercial. Quite the treat!
Happy Valentines to this crazy goof. He makes me laugh and smile everyday. We love our adventures, tacos, and sailing. Here is to another 20+ years of fun love and adventure.
While we feel ridiculously blessed to be out here while much of the world is locked down, we recognize the pandemic does limit our ability to experience and interact with local cultures as we would have hoped. Today however, we headed to the central market in Mazatlan, and it was a cultural treat.
