While we love being in Sausalito, we have been in 40′ slip, overhanging by 2′ with our 42′ boat, and this has prevented us from adding a few more feet by installing the Monitor wind vane on the transom. That, and the convenience of having the boat adjacent to Julian’s work, makes a move to Brickyard Cove a good option, so off we go.
E25 … Our new home in Brickyard Cove Goodbye Sausalito (but we’ll be back, ‘cos we forgot the dinghy). Making a nice exit down the Sausalito channel under jib in a gusty breeze.
Only after we arrive do we realize we completely forgot to bring the dinghy and we’ll need to go back before the end of the month to pick it up.
